This is a new Long-life, High-Power rechargeable battery.  New design, exclusive fit battery for these updated radios. Battery includes a TYPE C Charging port!  It can also be recharged in the stock OEM Desktop Charging stand provided with this series radio.  Battery gets smart-charged either way, via the Type C port or the Desktop charge stand supplied with your radio.

Note:  The old Baofeng BL-5 batteries will NOT fit these newly-design radios.
