The BP-82xi insert is a 7.2-volt 700mAh LONG LIFE rechargeable Ni-MH battery assembly that goes inside an ICOM BP-82 type battery casing. The insert is about 1.1" tall. This insert comes welded up and ready to work with; you will need to disassemble your old battery, remove the old insert, and solder in this new insert. Original battery was around 250mAh, so this insert will restore AND upgrade your BP-82 battery.
